Community involvement is essential for the positive growth of any community. There are several ways that you can be involved in your local community, from purchasing from local vendors, to donating time or resources, the variety of ways to get involved are many.
We recently met with Kaulana Deleon, DKings Enterprises founder. DKings, founded on Giving Through the Spirit of Aloha, offers many services focused on creating additional streams of income for people. Although they are very business focused, there number one mission is to give more than they receive. They feel that this mentality leads to freedom on many levels.
With a background in Real Estate Investing and Property Renovations, DKings primarily focuses on the art of investing in Arizona Real Estate. There network of investors, contractors, and venture capitalists set them up to effectively mentor and train others on how to create large ROI’s in the real estate industry.
The DKings business model is unique in a few ways. To begin with, they work with a strong network of people with different strengths. There team consists of investors, real estate agents, laborers, local businesses who supply the materials, and more. DKings get everyone working together to bring the best opportunity and return to all involved. Some people have skills but no capital, while others have capital but no skills. From finding wholesale properties, to fixing them up to flip for profit, and training people on how to rehab a property, the DKings team puts opportunity into action.
Leading their business in with the vision of giving, DKings gives more than to just those involved in their business and mentoring network. They reach out within local communities, where they provide food, gatherings, encouragement, and growth.
Many people do not have access to shelter, regular warm meals, or the support of others. Kaulana said it is our goal to provide access to all of those things that many do not have access too. DKings sets up Outreach programs where their team and anyone else that wants to get involve, donated food, clothing, and time to those that just don’t have it. Not only do they provide these items, they personally go out and set up table of food where people come together to laugh, eat and enjoy a positive atmosphere.
Kaulana informed me that seeing and experiencing how happy people are from the little things that can easily be taken for granted, really puts things into perspective. He wants his children to learn to give more than they receive. Once you begin giving, you want to do more and more often. Our crew feels like we get more from what we do than those we do it for.
We want to commend the whole DKings Team and all those that volunteer with time, food, or other donations. It takes leaders in a community and leaders the DKings team are. If you would like to keep up with the Community Outreach Events that they host, donate, or volunteer your time, please visit their website or facebook page.
